The founder of As You Like It, a bay area-based record label, approached me about managing the ads for their inaugural event series Unabridged, focusing on the legacy of Detroit's techno music movement. Having worked with the founder in the past in relation to ads and promoting, I was trusted to advise and manager their campaigns. They required setting up a new Meta ad account so I assisted them through that process, including properly implementing their pixel for audience retargeting. The project window was short, with only around 3 weeks of running ads leading up to the weekend of events. I utilized my experience in audience creation and targeting on Meta, using all of the label's social, website, and ticket page traffic to boost sales. By the end of the campaigns, the ads were all performing with KPIs well above industry standards. Link clicks, cost per click, and reach showed great results, while cost per purchase and frequency were low, showing excellent performance for a a short window of marketing with a small budget to share between several events and campaigns.
